Well it's that time again everyone for a new and exciting Challenge going on over at Digi Darla's Challenge Blog!!This time the theme is Thinking About You! And some more exciting news is that Floppy Latte's Digital Designs is our sponsor for this week.. So this week your card has to be either from Digi Darla!! or one from Floppy Latte!! Can't wait to see what every one comes up with...
So here are my cards that I done for Floppy Latte and Digi Darla! The first card is from Digi Darla called "LOVING ARMS"!
I used and A2 size card and used a scrap for the front of the card can't remember where it came from, The image was colored with Prisma colored pencils and distressed around the edges, The sentiment is from Digi Darla's and thought it was perfect for this Digi (LOVING ARMS). This card could actually be also used for a beautiful Mother's Day Card..
I also distressed the sentiment to give is some color and add a ribbon from Off Ray, I love there glittery ribbons. Added some bling I got from Recollections, The beautiful flower is one of the many that me and Dawn made with her punch set... My flower stash is getting low gonna have to make some more they were so much fun to make... This card is going to someone special who is having a very rough time right now!!
On to my second card it is from Floppy Latte's called (CLOWN DOLL).
This adorable little clown was colored with prisma colored pencils, and blended with sansdor...
I used another A2 card and the paper came from my stash embossed it with my cuddle bug folder called Large Petals. I did some more distressing on the card and on the sentiment. On the card I used "Worn Lipstick" by Tim Holtz and on the sentiment I used "Aged Mahogany" I added some stickles to the Clown Doll's hat and shirt buttons, and a rhinestone from recollections for his nose, and then added some colored Google eyes, since clowns always have these cute little painted up faces!!
Also added a couple of parrot birds, since when I think of clowns, I think of carnivals and zoo's
Thanks for all the wonderful comments and hope you enjoy these cards as much as I did making them!!!
Have a Wonderful and Blessed Day!!!
