Your Not Just Any Bunny!!!

Here is my Easter Baby By Digi Darla!!!. The Baby Bunny was colored with Prisma colored pencils,

and the blended with Sansador.  The paper is from my Easter stash!! Not sure where I got the Sentiment from but loved it and thought it went well with Baby Bunny... The flower was cut out with 3 different punches and put together, inked the ends of the petals, and sprayed with glimmer mist... To give it some sheen and glitter, Added some cute ribbon with dots in it from DCWV Spring called (FUN)!!! Then added some bling to it.This is going to be one of my cards for the Butterfly Kisses to cheer up a little boy or girl!!! Who is having a tough time with their health... I am hoping that with this card and the posts about these children and families in need that everyone that follows my blog with make some cards for the Children and their families.

Butterfly Kisses!!! Please Check This Out!!!!!

Check this out it is for a Very Good Cause!!!!It is amazing to see the wonderful things that kids and teenagers are doing now!  Two wonderful teenagers from Charlotte, NC have started this fantastic non-profit called Butterfly Kisses Care Baskets.  

Butterfly Kisses is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the goal of bringing care baskets to children who are battling for their lives against childhood cancer or other serious illnesses.  We realize that when a child is diagnosed with a terminal illness, it not only affects the child but the parents, siblings, and the rest of their family. For this reason, we strive to bring a “butterfly kiss” not only to the child who is ill, but to the siblings as well. Our hope is that we will provide a smile among the shattered world of life-threatening illness, and that we will rally a community to make a difference through the smallest acts of kindness.

What does Butterfly Kisses do for these children? Butterfly Kisses uses a personalized, and intimate approach towards the children in creating beautiful photo collages of the children. Using photos of the child throughout their life and of course, their family, Butterfly Kisses creates a cherished memory for the family. In many instances, these families are fighting for time against the disease. In addition, we send each child and their siblings a personalized, small care box filled with small goodies for them to enjoy, along with a card made by volunteers! And for local children, we provide special care baskets with toys, gifts, and opportunities for memory-making family experiences.

If you would like to make a card for one of the children receiving a Butterfly Kisses care basket, there are some simple rules to follow:

      -- Don’t apologize for their illness, offer words that are encouraging and hopeful (ie:  “Dear brave friend” or simply “Dear Friend”) 

      -- Make the cards cheery and happy…remember who they are going to!

   -- Anyone can make cards from toddlers to adults.

Bursting With Buttons ( Cute as a Button)!!

Good Morning! How about some more exciting News! Make sure you read all the way down to find out the NEWS!!  I decided to use the Bearing Gifts Bear from Digi-Darla's, The paper is from Recollections

called Monkeying Around (BUTTON UP)..... I though it was very appropriate for this challenge, since our Theme is "Buttons" My little bear is Bearing Buttons. I made the phrase " Cute as a Button "! The flower is from my Stash!!!  The image (Bearing Gift's) is a Brand New Release from Digi Darla's,  And you will have to Join the challenge and leave comments. Use a Digi Darla's Image and  I will be giving the Image (Bearing Gifts) away to some lucky person who (That does all Three)!

Mr.Bunny by Spectacular Printable is so adorable, he is wishing everyone a Happy Easter and has his little basket behind him.The image was colored with prisma colored pencils...Then inked on the side.. The paper is from my scrap stash!! Used some flowers and added some pastel colored buttons and some Diamond stickles to give it some glittery look...

This Beautiful Basket of flowers is sending a Note of Thanks! The beautiful image is from Ikesart.com. The paper is from "My Mind's Eye" called Confetti Party "Love" Stripes/Green. I colored the basket of flowers with my prisma colored pencils, Inked the sides of the basket with blue ink to bring out the blue in the bouquet, Layered the paper so the card would stand out and added some bling from my stash!!!The flower made by hand with three different punches, That MY BEST FRIEND(DAWN) got and we worked on the flower last night while we were crafting!!!! They are beautiful when done, but a lot of work goes into them... I added some Distress stickles around the edges to give it a glittery look...

The scallops at the bottom are from my stash i sprayed them with some "DITTO" Glimmer Spray! The Dots are from Queen and Company, Recollections and Jolee's All That Bling. "Thinking Of You" Think Spring and Tiffany Doodles Image

Here is my card for Tiffany Doodles Morning Glory And Monarch Butterfly    for our mid challenge at DigiDarla's Challenge Blog. I colored the image with Prisma colored pencils and blended them. I fussy cut the Monarch Butterfly and used pop dots to make it stick up,The paper is from Colorbok Fancy Fleur. The flowers, butterflies, the pink dots are from recollections. I used a stamp from "Hampton Art " Thinking Of You" and Embossed it with American Crafts ZING embossing powder called "Rouge" Added a bow from my stash that I made with my mini Bowdrabra... I love that little invention. So here is my creation can't wait to hear what everyone has to say!!!

"My Beautiful Card"(Best Buds)

This is a card that Craftin-Dawn did and what I didn't know was that it was for me...

It is really beautiful, the pictures don't do it JUSTICE!!!! When she gave it to me and I started reading what she had put on the back of the card, It brought Tears to my Eye's.. She actually told me I was like a sister that she never had! We have been thru alot together and we will go thru alot more.. We will always be there for each other.. I Just wanted to Share this and Thank Dawn for this beautiful card and how much it meant to me!!! I

 Now on  to my project, I decided to do Digi Darla"s Country Mailbox

The image was colored with prisma colored pencils, and blended with Sansdor

I cut out a circle with my circle cutter and the paper is call confetti by My Minds Eye.

Stamped with a stamp i have that i thought would be appropriated for the mailbox.

Then took some Just the EDGE cardstock strips and sprayed it with my

glimmer mist called yellow Daisy. To give it a different look flowers and

 dragons are from my stash and the peach looking ribbon is also from

my stash and glued button to it so this is my card, don't forget to read all the

 way to the bottom and then hop on over to Tabitha's blog .

April Showers!!

Here is my April Showers, I decided to use the cute " Timmy Turtle" from DigiDarla's, The paper is from Green At Heart. I colored the image with Prisma Colored Pencils and then used waterfall stickles on the the raindrops and the puddles of water... The flowers are from my stash and the also the flower gems and dragonfly, I used the sticky letters from green at heart and put a dot of spiced Marmalade Distress Stickles from Ranger on the flowers that are on the DP to give them a little dimension.. The Ribbon is from my stash!! Gotta love those stashes!!!

Spring Adds New Beauty!!!

This is my Spring Adds New Beauty , The image is from DigiDarla's-Caring Duck

The paper is from Colorbok-All a Flutter, The image was colored with Prisma Colored Pencils and blended with Sansodor.  I used 2 different prima flowers and bling  from Jolee's All That Bling!!!

It makes you think of spring with the butterfly's and the colorful flowers!!! So with this card

PS..

I have  been really busy working on cards, but My future Daughter In Law had all 4 wisdom teeth cut out last Friday and it has been a nightmare!!!! She is allergic to the Pain med they gave her and some of the stitches came out Friday night when she woke up, She has been in some severe pain and sick vomiting because of the med they gave her... So i have been running back and forth trying to take care of her...  And then on top of it my son has been sick, They only live about 15 minutes from me!!! Haven't had a lot of time to get my cards posted!!! Hopefully things will slow down some now that they have her on other stuff.. I have felt really bad for her because there was not a whole lot i could do other than be there with her and comfort her!!!

Three flowers and used pot dots to give them dimension , The paper i used was Deena's Penny Lane Free Bird "My Friend" Leaves of Love Paper and then used AC Specialty Paper "Pearl" The Butterfly stamp is and the "You Are So Kind" stamps are from Hampton Art Ellen Krans called Thank You Theme

The Rhinestones are from my stash of Studio G and Recollection Glittler dots.

Kiss me I'm Irish!!!

This is a new card design that decided to try, Dawn and me both worked on the pattern together this is a cool card to work with, I decided to work with this cute image from ScrapHappyPaperCrafter.com called " Kiss Me I'm Irish... I used a stamp from Studio G Saying Lucky To Be Irish and Happy St. Patrick's  Day!!!

The buttons are from my stash, I used prima flowers with a little pearl in the middle. The paper is from Minds Eye. I used different colored green Rhinestones... Going to enter this in  a couple of  challenges, Keep the comments coming Love reading them!!!

Lucky Charm!!!

This is my "Lucky Charm"!!!! I wish i could remember where i got the digi and  the sentiment

from!! I guess when i get them i need to put who they from with them so when time to make a card I will know who they from, But thought this little guy was so cute!!!The Glittery Paper came from ColorBok " All A Flutter". I used a Prima Flower and put a cut little brad with an awesome pink stone in the middle..The image was colored with Prisma colored pencils,and blended with Sansodor, The paper behind the leprechaun came from A T  D Great Outdoors, The Sentiment has been inked on the sides.... Then took my 4leaf clover ribbon and put it in middle, made sentiment stand out with popup dots.. Going to enter this card in
